AT THE SEASIDE

I was beginning to fall asleep when, just at the right moment, we arrived at the seaside. I was extremely astonished. As I opened my eyes I saw, heard and smelt numerous things. Since school had just closed my parents took me out for a treat which was to go to the seaside. As I glanced around the place, I smelt the amazing aroma of fried chicken. Also, I smelt the aroma of salty water. That was only the first part of it.

I saw the crystal clear sea peacefully making waves. I also saw fishes jumping up from in the sea. I heard the birds chirping.Walking on the sand, I noticed that there were lots of seashells buried in it. Also, I saw broken pieces of glass bottles deep beneath the sand. My dad had just finished catching enough fish for dinner and was coming back to shore so he could fry them for us to eat. After a lovely day at the seaside, we went back home. I wish to come back to the seaside another day.
